Speaker Biographies:

Roberta F. Katz, Esq. is an attorney in dependency court for over 14 years. She is on the Board for the Human Trafficking Coalition for the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee serving as co-chair for Education committee and Chair of the Coalition in 2019. She had educated many service providers in the child welfare system, health care system and even young adults on the risks and warning signs for Human Trafficking.

Susan M. Chesnutt, Esq. is a child welfare focused attorney in Vero Beach, Florida with over 10 years’ experience practicing family and criminal law.  Susan’s career path has given her the opportunity to work for the Dept. of Children and Families as a child protective investigator and as a criminal prosecutor before establishing The Chesnutt Law Firm.  Susan also hosts the podcast “From Foster Care to Family Law: A Child Welfare Focus” which strives to provide struggling families and parents with information that can help them work in the best interests of their children.
